Hi All,
My name is Lauralea and my husband and I are proud new mastiff owners! This is my first mastiff but my hubby's 2nd. His name is Xerxes and we got him at 8 weeks old. His mom was 180 and still growing and his dad was 215! The mom had 13 pups naturally and 3 died.
He is 12 weeks old today and he started puppy class w a private state police trainer @ 8 weeks old! He is a very loving puppy who enjoys watching tv for some reason? He knows 3 german commands and 4 hand signals already!
We are feeding him 3-4 cups a day of Holistic LG puppy breed dog food. He sits and waits on command before eating and has no problem with us petting him while he's eating. He was potty and crate trained the first week and hasn't had an accident since he was 9 weeks old!
I am very dedicated to giving him a life filled with a purpose so he can know his place in our family!
I do however have some questions about shots. I have heard and read a lot of mixed reviews on the lyme and lepto shots. I was hoping that someone out there with mastiff knowledge could give me so advice.
