Has anyone ever seen swollen lymph nodes on their puppy? I found one on Theophilus when he was 9 weeks old. I found another swollen lymph node on his face (cheek) at now 18 weeks old. He has been on 1 antiobiotic after another- it seems when he goes off of the antibiotic they pop back up. He's bee on: Trimethoprin sulfamethoxazone for the 1st three days he was home. Then on Clavamox for 10 days, shortly after that. Then started on Trimethoprin sulfamethoxazone when I picked his sister up from the breeder on 4/12. It seemed as if he had a UTI. (Yellow discharge in excessive amounts.)
So, now his appetite is diminishing- (which is not hard for him) and his face has this swollen lymph node. Ironically, it's on the same side of his body as the previous swollen lymph node.
Any advice? Has anyone ever dealt with this kind of situation? I'm at a loss!!!
I am sorry you are having such problems with Theophilus, this is concerning and I hope you find some answers and a solution to this. Good Karma to you for a healthy puppy !

Try changing your vet and maybe consider Theo's diet. Look for allergens in the food, corn, wheat, etc. He needs a full blood workup and some good diagnostics. Good luck.
I'm a nutty mom- turned out to be baby teeth coming in!!!! How silly!!!
