attachment=376]Good afternoon! We are very excitted to be first time owners of english Mastiffs. Luxie (our puppy) is 41/2 weeks old, so we have not gotten to bring her home yet but thank goodness for internet and better facebook. The breeder post pictures of the puppys every few days. I think i have read everything i can about the breed and i am always welcome to an advise! She is not registered but that is ok with us. I am even better that her parents are not just huge. we cant weight to get her. I am alittle concerned/confused about what to feed and how much. I have read several post and storys that conflict when to stop giving puppy food. Again any advise would be great. Have a wonderful day!!
mom weights 130
dad weights 115
Glad to have you and Luxie join the group. I'm not the one to try to inform you on the subject of feeding because it took a while for me to get it right. Lots of advise was given to me and you can read it under the growth charts, for "Ozzie, the runt of the litter". He briefly was my 'teacup mastiff', however he's WAY past that now. Anyhow, reading through that stuff will give you food for thought while you are still waiting for your baby. Can't wait to see pictures!

Is Luxie home yet? Can't wait to see updated pics!
Luxie is now 15 weeks old and doing great. We have her on diamond natural and she has gone from being a little butter ball puppy to a beautiful pup. She has developed this personally that is adorable. Last week she began this army crawl and I cant help but laugh when she does it. If she is stretched out and you call her insted of getting up and walking over to you she uses her front paws to pull and pushes with her back. It is the funniest thing to watch. Last night she was so happy to find her toy she was bouncing around like a bull. but when it was time for my daughter to go to bed Luxie went to her room stretched out in the door way and lays there till my daughter is asleep. We did alot of studying before getting Luxie and I have to say she has become the center of our lives. I dont think any other breed out there can compair to the Mastiff.
I havent taken new photos but will get some up soon!
