12 weeks ~ 39 lbs
13 Weeks ~ 44 lbs
14 Weeks ~ 43 lbs (poor hazel was sick..)
15 Weeks ~ 48 lbs ....she is feeling better then ever~
16 Weeks ~ 51 lbs
17 weeks ~ 53 lbs
18 weeks ~ 59 lbs
19 weeks ~ 63 lbs
20 weeks ~ 67 lbs
21 weeks ~ 72 lbs
Attached is a picture of her mom and dad and a picture of her at 10 weeks. I am hoping she gets to be 200 lbs

Awe, she's a cutie! Looks like the best of both worlds - the color of a saint with the short coat of a mastiff.
Thanks! We adore her! Your Peabody is what started my fascination with English Mastiff's. I was researching different giant breed dogs a a while back when we were ready for another dog (we already have a Saint Bernard). I came across your mydog8it website and fell in love with Peabody. I was on a waiting list for a fawn male from a local breeder when I stumbled across a litter of accidental St. Bermastiff's. Since I have a huge love for Saint Bernard's as well, I had to get one! Not sure what I am going to do when my name is up for the English Mastiff...I think 2 giant breed dogs is enough for now =)
Hazel is adorable - what a wonderful cross! Sounds like she is going to be a big girl for sure. Don't know what the tempermant of the St. Bernards is (although I suspect they're wonderful), but the English Mastiffs are so sweet and smart. We're sold - or owned by one ourselves ;(@}.
If the Trader Joe's food doesn't work out for you, you might try Merrick. Our Keegan loves the Wilderness Blend (dry) and also the Before Grain in Salmon and Buffalo.
Thanks! She has quite the personality already! She is the biggest lover and is so smart! Big barker though. My other Saint Bernard only barks when someone knocks or on command. Not sure if barking is a English Mastiff trait. She does always have a purpose for her barking though (potty, water, food, when she wants up on the bed, wants attention, wants you to get up in the morning).
Thanks for the food suggestion! Does Merrick make a "All Stages of Life" food? My Saint Bernard and Hazel insist on sharing a food bowl and it's quite the struggle feeding them seperately (they have seperation anxiety when they are not in the same room). So far Trader Joe's seems to be working well. I know it's not the "best" food out there, but it's all natural, no meat byproducts or corn.
Keegan (our English Mastiff) didn't really start to find her voice (or use it) until the past couple of years. And funny as it may sound, she is very skiddish - any sudden movement, noise, etc., startles her. Keep posting pics of Hazel - she's going to be a beauty!
We've been feeding Merrick to Keegan for several years now. We started because of her allergies - thinking they might be food related. Merrick is all natural as well - no fillers, etc. I don't know if the Wilderness Blend would be adequate nutrition for a growing puppy - probably a good question for your vet or someone at the store you purchase Merrick from - they're usually pretty knowledgeable. Here's a link for more info on Merrick:
http://ezinearticles.com/?Benefits-of-Me...d=1798340. Keegan is a very picky eater, and she loves WB and the Before Grain varieties as well.

Another cutie! Makes me want another "baby" . . . although hubby says there's no way we could travel w/2 giant breeds and our cat.

Lilly is so adorable! She has much more mastiff coloring then St Bernard. My Hazel has the Saint coloring with the coat and body of a mastiff. How is Lilly's Temperament? Hazel is the naughtest puppy I have ever had, but also the smartest! She has learned lots of tricks already at 18 weeks!! I will try to post new pics of Hazel soon!
She has the best tempermant ever. She is real laid back and calm. She does have her moments where she gets all pumped up and runs through the back yard like a crazy women haha.. And she absolutly LOVES the water. This summer we got her a kiddie pool to play in the backyard and we take her down to a lake to let her swim. We have been getting her used to the dog park, at first she just liked all the people there and didnt really play with the other dogs. But now after about 10 visits shes figured out playing with the dogs is just as fun haha. It took her some time getting used to playing with smaller dogs but has learned to be easy.
She's extremely smart and catches on to commands real fast. In one day she learned sit,lay down, rollover, and speak all with hand signals. I would love to find a Male to breed her with when she gets older.
Updated her growth chart (see original post).
Hazel was 84 lbs at 26 weeks.
She is getting very difficult to weigh!! I will take her in next week when she is 30 weeks.
It's sad when they get too big to pick up and hold on the scale.

That's pretty much when we stopped weighing Peabody.
I take Yogi into work after hours and have him get on our shipping scale

lol. That's a great idea. My vet has their scale in the waiting room. So I just take Hazie in for a weigh-in once a month now. She so funny...she hates it for some reason. She loves to go see all the girls at the front desk, but hates to get on the scale. Typical girl...I hate to be weighed too =)
today was the first time that the scale at our house read err.... guess my husband cannot hold mac anymore and weigh him... so somehow i had the strength to pick mac up and hold him long enough to get an accurate weight of 80.5 lbs at just over 19 weeks. don't know how i did it since he is 2/3rds my weight, but i had to know how he was doing! We will have to start going to the vets to get weights from here on out!
