Walter @ 8 weeks.
Walter is a Dogue De Bordeaux. We picked him up almost 3 weeks ago and at 8 weeks he was a whopping 24 lbs. We go in tomorrow for his second set of shots and I'll get an updated 11 week weight!
Sire: 160 lbs
Dam: 90 lbs
He is eating Royal Canin Maxi Baby Dog.
8 weeks: 24 lbs
11 weeks: 31 lbs
12 weeks & 3 days: 39 lbs
14 weeks: 45.5 lbs
16 weeks: 51 lbs
18 weeks: 59 lbs
5 months: 69 lbs
I've been comparing Walter's growth to other puppies on here and it seems he is similar to a lot of the puppies with parents A LOT bigger than his. Is this a good indication that Walter may be huge in comparison to his own parents? He was about double the size of all the other puppies in his litter...

My female mastiff is now 28 inches tall and 118 at 41 weeks. She weighed 32 pounds at 12 weeks so looks like your "little" fellow is due to be a whopper as well.
He's a beautiful dog.
Gorgeous dog... he looks very playful and happy

That pic of the two of them is too cute.

What a beautiful little bear.
I would say that Walter is very large for his age... Delta my girl is 7 months and weighs 69 pounds... The only advice we received from the breeder was to feed the puppy a large breed puppy food so she didn't gain to much weight too fast.. (Leading cause of hip dysplasia other than genetics) By the way he looks great...

She's cute! We have him on Royal Canin's large breed puppy food which is what the breeder had him on when we got him. We tried switching him to Innova large breed puppy and then eagle pack large breed puppy but he hated them (would literally not eat for days) so I switched him back. Spoiled lil brat, haha. I just updated his growth chart and he weighed in at 51 lbs @ 16 weeks. He's honestly the biggest dork of a dog and we love him for that!
I've got to get updated pictures of Walt on here for you guys... He's so handsome! I have absolutely fallen head over heals in love with this breed. He's turning out to be the most easy going lovable teddy bear ever. He weighed in at almost 60 pounds at a little over 4 months old yesterday. Thank goodness he's a gentle giant

I took a couple pictures on my phone so they aren't the best. Walter is 5 months old today and weighs 69 lbs.

Walter is almost 8 months old and is 100 lbs, he's slowed down a lot... guess he isn't going to be as big as we thought.

I'd say 100 pounds at 8 months is pretty big for a Bordeaux. What a mug!
