Ozzie at 7 weeks
This is a picture I came across of Ozzie with one of his littermates when he was 7 weeks old. We picked him up the next week. What a pitiful little boy he was, I don't think I believed that he'd really be the BIG bundle of joy that he's turned out to be. LOL.

RE: Ozzie, the runt of the litter
    birth, barely a pound
8 weeks... 6 pounds, 5 ounces
9 1/2 weeks... 8.2 pounds
11 weeks... 13.6 pounds
12 weeks... 15.8
14 weeks... 27.2
16 weeks... 34.5 pounds
18 weeks (plus 3 days) ... 47.5 pounds
20 weeks (minus 2 days)... 52 pounds
23 weeks (minus 2 days)... 62.7 pounds
25 weeks... 67.5 pounds
26 1/2 weeks... 71.4 pounds
31 weeks... 87 pounds
8 months old... 93 pounds
9 months... 101 pounds
10 months...104.1

I'll admit that I was surprised that Ozzie only gained 3 pounds last month because he LOOKS enormous to me. I've been making both dogs sit and wait to go out the screen door, in self-defense really because Ozzie knows that if he head-butts the screen he can create his own doggie door!

RE: Ozzie, the runt of the litter
funny about the screen. delilah (great dane mix, now passed) went through our patio screen door once. she popped the entire thing off the house and it was bent in 1/2 - she was completely fine, just a little confused Smile i always have them "wait" by the door for the OK now, too.

Wow, I guess I should be glad they just popped out the screen! Zoe didn't gorilla the screen BO (before Ozzie). Okay, once or twice when the dog next door jumped the fence and was on the other side of the screen wanting to play, but that was it. I think I created the monster during Ozzie's housebreaking, by responding to him being at the door and letting me know that he needed to go out by flying across the room and opening the French door, getting them all excited, and then they'd be rushing to be the first one out the door to the lanai. I guess I was afraid that if he was stopped on his way out he'd pee in the house. Funny how you can usually figure out that your dog's bad habits are related to what you yourself did. My husband was away for the weekend and he will be amazed (and relieved) at how nicely they sit there waiting to go out now. All bets are off when their buddy Sammy is out there wanting to play however. Sammy has been away too, when he gets back it'll be the true test. LOL.
